Help ! Please..... Calling all Blogger friends....

Ok - here's the deal.

I'm stressed out my brain and am working the most stupid amount of hours possible. It's already 1.40am and there is no way I can dream of going to bed yet as I have so much to do.

Typically, I've taken on a large project and simply don't think I've got enough time to accomplish what I want to achieve within the timescale.

That's where you guys come in, as I think this could be quite fun.......

At the end of next month, I'm taking the silicone on the road to the Ideal Home Show exhibition in Scotland. It was a very late decision and I'm simply not prepared. I'm only just starting to try and design the stand layout and what to take with us.

I LOVE using our products and taking photos of the things I make. However, there are oodles of stuff that I haven't yet got round to using myself or taking photos of things made in them. I really want to be able to do a continuous presentation on a tv screen on the stand in the background (without sound) showing some of the things that can be made in our moulds. Luckily, I've got a hundred or more good, clear images to use. There are many of items I don't yet have photos to show things made in for either our website or the presentation and this includes some of our new range which is not yet released and coming in May.

I'm willing to swap some moulds in return for use of some photos (all credits will remain yours and I'm happy to backlink). Photos do need to be of a good > high standard, so some skill in this area would be required. I'm going to need photos in asap - by mid May absolute latest.

If you think you would be interested in helping out so I don't flunk my challenge, please drop me a line and I'll get back to you asap. I'm happy to put this offer worldwide

  3. That does it - all I needed to make some friands using the friand mould i bought from you recently. You were the only place I could find them, btw. I googled "friand tin" and both Amazon and Lakeland came up first but they didn't actually have any.

We are supposed to be on a diet and I have a poorly hand at the moment but I was just looking at a recipe 10 minutes ago - I'll send you the results. In any case, good luck with the show.

If you have a minute you could look at this

  4. oh me me me! I've been eyeing a number of moulds from the site (and stalking your recipe site at the same time) ever since I saw your moulds on Zurin's blog and have been steadily accumulating my 'wants' so that I can have a sizeable order to save on shipping :p I'd love to help you out as well - do check out my blog to see if my photography passes the mark, and if it does, just drop me a mail :D

  8. Hi SJ!! I'm willing to help out all the way from Asia! Up to you what molds you need to photograph, my limitations are baking. No soap molding, ok? Haven't got a clue how to do that. Haha!

Check out my photos, http://krazekitch.blogspot.com/p/pics.html taken with a LUMIX LX3. Although the pictures here were just done by me, I can have a pro photographer friend do food styling for you. If you're happy with these, just holler!

  22. wow - all I can say is thank you ! I'm surviving of 4 > 5 (if I'm lucky) hours sleep a day at the moment and have just pushed myself a bit too far in every direction.

The big crisis today was that my camera sd card corrupted and I think I'd lost almost a week worth of work. I could have passed out when I realised what had happened. Thankfully, a downloaded card recovery program managed to retrieve approx 600 photos - so I'm feeling rather relieved.

Thank you so much for all of the offers. I am VERY grateful. I'll have a look at everyone's blogs and email those of you who may be suitable for this occassion. If you don't mind, I'll keep the rest of you on record for next time I need some reviews and photos :-)

I'll apologise in advance as there it is very unlikely I can personally email all of you at this time. It's so lovely to hear from you all and I'm overwhelmed to have had such a great response.

    Thank you all.

I'll post messages up to you all on here too as fast as I can.

  23. Zurin - my dear friend. You're always my anchor :-) I've got a couple you will like. Will email you later.

Ann - I've got one specially got you that you will LOVE and something else too... Will email you tonight

Astral - email your address again. There are a couple for you as well.

Jean - would love to see your photos when you have time to have a play.Friands are amazing. Tins are hard to get hold of, and to my knowledge - I don't know anywhere at all that makes them in silicone. We send bucket loads of them to customers in Australia ... so perhaps they can't get them easily there either ! Hope the hand is better soon.

  24. Janine - I've been looking through your blog and don't know if I've got anything suitable for you at the moment. There is a lot of new stuff coming though and there may be something to suit you soon. Can I keep you on file for a little while ?

Choclette - I'll keep a look out for you too. Thanks so much for offering, but I don't think I have anything at the moment. I'll keep you in mind for a future review. About the bundt moulds - we are going to discontinue these to make space for many new incoming designs. The large ones are now in short supply, though we have plenty stock of the smaller size.

Wibbs - love the new blog. I'm your first follower :-) I'm looking for specific things in photos this time and on this occassion don't think I have anything for you. Thanks so much for the offer though :-)
